The hotel itself is a classic, the staff are well trained and one could be in a movie staying there. I do feel one or two standards have slipped since I stayed there a few years ago....let's put it down to Covid, however overall the stay was simply put sublime. One area that does need attention or comment passed is to their accounts department...besides the fact that I paid in full many months before we arrived their accounts department instructed the reception to debit my card in full for the stay again....TWICE!!...to say I was peeved is an understatement. After some strong words and a gift from Claridge's to apologise, the funds were returned to my account....for both over debits.
